The little Story Merchant
Stories that dig a little deeper.
Dear Parents and Teachers,

If you want to have meaningful conversations with your kids about self-acceptance and belonging…

Then buckle up, I’m about to change your story.

I’m Dot, and for a long time I didn't like myself and felt like I didn't belong anywhere.
I was just a tiny dot, surrounded by pages that didn’t feel like home.

I felt small. Out of place. Invisible.

I knew something had to change, but there was one problem...
I didn’t know how to talk about how I felt.

I didn’t have the words, or the courage.

But I knew that was the key.

I’d heard what happens when you speak up and no one listens:

It hurts.
It makes you feel even smaller and more alone.
But I took a leap anyway.

I jumped right off my page, and into a world I had never been to before.

On the first day, I met a dragon who helped me find my inner magical strength.

That wasn’t enough to become who I wanted to be…

But it meant I could start my journey.

I kept talking to other magical creatures, and before I knew it, I realised the most Amazing truth

Being myself, a little dot - was the most magical thing of all.

The Secret?

I didn’t need to change who I was. I just needed to see where I fit in the bigger picture.

If you don’t believe me, here’s the proof 👇

The BEST Part?

The magic that helped me was imagination, curiosity, and gentle conversation - it’s the same magic that helps children discover who they are.

So here’s what got me here:

-
Talking to others
-
Role-playing through imagination
-
Exploring my feelings safely
-
Meeting others like me
-
Seeing that everyone belongs somewhere
It felt SO GOOD to finally accept my self.
That’s when my author began sharing my story with childhood educators… and they saw how it helps children understand self - acceptance and belonging.

"As a Developmental Educator, I can confidently say that this book hits the mark on promoting in depth discussions with your children about belonging, self acceptance, communication, and discovery." - Christina Milad, Developmental Educator

"Dot encourages children to understand that they have a special place in the world, to simply be themselves and embrace who they are, rather than trying to become someone else." Christianne Michael, Childcare Director

HOW?
By using story telling devices to turn abstract feelings into something kids can see and feel - through simple language, playful characters, and beautiful illustrations.
And now… I can be all yours. 💛

Here’s what you’ll get inside Dot:

-
A joyful story that helps children understand their unique traits are not flaws
-
A gentle way to open conversations about feeling “different” or “out of place”
-
A colourful adventure showing that self-acceptance doesn’t have to be lonely

Can’t wait to meet you inside the pages!
